|Preliminary results about COSMOS re-use in plastics|
|Written by Elza Bontempi|
COSMOS filler was employed, for the first time, as a filler for plastic materials. In order to verify the effective possibility to reuse COSMOS inert material, experiments were done by adding COSMOS to polyamide.
Preliminary results about the possibility to employ COSMOS as a filler of polymers are very promising. The inert inserted into polymer matrices results very well integrated and homogeneously dispersed in the polymer.

These results will be presented in a talk at the
Talk 30.3: Reuse of COSMOS filler, obtained by municipal solid waste incineration fly ash inertisation, in plastic materials (see the conference program).
